Day 77 (Attempted Hostile Takeover continues).... 3 lessons in the face of opposition.
??????Jet Blue vs. Spirit vs. Frontier, (Opposition in Business). I continue to follow this story closely as I am fascinated by this multi-faceted takeover and the timing of it parallel to Springboard- June 30th is a significant date for our shareholders! ?I really love this concept in this deal of the reverse termination fee…basically “Hey, sorry we wasted your time, we will pay you for lost time.”
?Lesson: Value your time! Some people will recognize the value and others will take advantage of it but it's up to you as to where you spend your time.

????David vs. Goliath, (Opposition in war.) ?David was fighting a known giant that attempted to intimidate him with his size. In the natural it appeared David would be defeated. However, David envisioned his victory before it was completed and not only did David cut off Goliath’s head with his own sword, but the Philistines also fled the land and the Israelites took it over.
Lesson: Do NOT underestimate the power of your vision nor overestimate the size of your opposition.
?Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma, (Opposition in sports) I have been filled with so much joy as my alma mater took the NCAA tournament by surprise this year for the first time in its history. The Rebel's regular season was less than stellar, fans were complaining, even questioning the future of their coach, they made sloppy errors, they barely made the SEC tournament and YET with unwavering hope, tapping into their talent and a unified front they came together in Omaha last week outscoring their postseason opponents 82-25 and defied all odds by winning the 2022 College World Series and claiming the National Championship!
Lesson: Don't believe the naysayers, that leadership must be the problem, that you don't have the talent or the skills, you aren't worthy, etc. .. Focus on your gifts and watch the tides turn once you stop listening to the chatter, focus on the value that has been placed around you and the potential within - that is where you will find the victory! ?
