Welcome back! A product manager has some advice for junior employees: Be the dumbest person in the room. Asking questions and listening rather than trying to tout your knowledge is the best bet.

This will be my last edition for a bit, as I'll be on parental leave until May. But don't sweat it! You're in the very capable hands of my UK colleague Hallam Bullock while I am out. The only thing you'll need to change is to imagine a posh British accent while you're reading it.

I was a poor divorced mom who struggled to get a degree. I joined the National Guard for college money and finished my BS at 32. Therefore, my resume makes me "appear" 10 years younger. At 60, I got a face and neck lift. Your appearance can make you look more relatable to younger interviewers and younger to older interviewers. It works. I never had to remove my MBA from my resume as I completed that fulltime at night about 8 years after my BS. Even at age 60, I was still fielding six figure job offers. At age 70, I have a social security income of $3k/mo and military retirement pay of $1k/mo. Not rich, but comfortable. My advice - get a face and neck lift. Not as painful as joint replacements. It's only skin deep ??
