Old ways can have proven results..

This installation was originally completed in the early 90's and has quite an impressive service record. In fact if it was a soldier it would probably be a general by now...

Like all experienced serviceman, these gates have had their share of harsh use in extreme conditions, suffering missuse and abuse, both man made and from natural sources. Even here some radical insects had eaten through one of these huge solid Oak, support posts, within its first tour. Collapsing the post, about two inches under the drive surface. This was especially interesting as the other side is still original and they came from the same tree.

The real reason this installation has been so rewarding for its owner, for so long, is that it was designed and installed to a high level of engineering benefit. From the execution of the foundations and ducts, through the quality of workmanship and choice of controls and equipment used, to the aftersales care and support it recieved. This system is a glowing example of getting it mostly right.

What presented itself an an expensive option 27 years ago, has proven to be actually great value for money. Installations of lesser value have been replaced two or three times since then and given owners many headaches on the way.

Invest in a better return for your hard earnt money, metal or timber, swing or sliding, please have it engineered to last.
