This thought for the day came across my inbox this morning. This is such a tired aphorism that I couldn't resist responding.

The issue is that we deal with as an "either/or" discussion, when in fact it is an "and" discussion.

If you want to cross the Grand Canyon you have several choices:

Walking
Horse riding
Evil Knievel- type stunts
Helicopter

Each requires a different business objective and skill set. Duh!! I'd really not recommend flying across the Grand Canyon in a helicopter piloted by a rodeo rider. Well, one that does not have a license to fly a helicopter anyway.
