Have you ever heard people say "old age is the reason for aches and pains"?

We've all heard it before, and it's a belief that many people hold. However, what if I told you that this is not necessarily true?

Yes, our bodies go through wear and tear, just like the vehicles we drive. But, if we took care of our bodies the way we take care of our cars, would we still experience the aches and pains we do?

I've worked with people of all ages in this industry, and I've seen firsthand that taking care of your body is the key to a pain-free life.

Did you know that our body's energy fields calibrate at 200, while our minds calibrate at 400? This means that our thoughts can translate into our body's physical experiences.

So, if you believe that "I'm old, so I'm falling apart," your body will act out that belief.

But, it doesn't have to be that way! By rectifying those belief patterns your belief patterns, you can move forward into a pain-free future.

As I always say, movement is medicine. Our bodies are not designed to be sedentary, so as soon as we sit down, our muscles start to react in different ways.

If you're feeling the prolonged effects of sitting, don't worry, I’ve got you covered!

In this newsletter, I will be sharing some exercises that will help you feel the difference in your body. So, let's get moving and start living a pain-free life!

For many who sit down. They experience short hip flexors. This can lead to lower back pain if they are not given the necessary lengthening back out. But, I know many also experience knee pain.

This standing version of a hip flexor stretch is ideal for those people and for anyone who wants to get a good stretch through the torso.

Stiff, sore, and clunky shoulders are a common problem for many. This often occurs because of imbalance or shortened and lengthened muscles in the chest, shoulders and back.

This exercise ‘Y-Handcuffs’ is great for getting some mobility back into the shoulders.

Give those couple of exercises a try this week and let me know how you get on.
