Ola Cabs Ponzi Scheme


Recently I read about phony deals by Paytm, how they announce these deals through emails, sms and ads but when we end up buying those deals or products, they send transaction failure message and our money gets stuck in Paytm wallet. We are forced to buy things which we never want to buy to utilize our wallet  balance.

I encountered similar fake deals or ponzi scheme (HAPPY50 and HAPPY100) in Ola Cab for the last three weeks. Ideally for HAPPY50, you should get flat discount of Rs 50 on Ola Mini and Ola Prime for upto 5 kms but I was forced to pay Rs 85 for a distance of 4.5 kms with a discount of Rs 25. Similarly for HAPPY100 I had to pay Rs 132 with a discount of Rs 30 for around 7 kms. Instead I should have paid just Rs 62. When I filed a complaint to Ola they justified it and replied that bill got inflated due to Time Taken and Peak Pricing (Surge). When I further complained that they should have disclosed these while sending such misleading sms along with an example, they declined to entertain me further.

I am highly disappointed with Ola Cab and the way you are fooling customers with Ponzi Schemes. Request you all to beware of such malpractices by Ola and other app driven cab services to induce demand. They are minting money from customer through such deals.
