It Is OK To Not Be OK!

Over the years training for a major distribution company, i had the honour to work with some of the worlds most prestigious brands. Part of my style was always to be a brand ambassador a change of style and clothing to ensure I was always on brand (its fashion darling, all about the look) On the other hand at big conferences attended by hundreds of clients I was always up for dressing silly, making people laugh and smile (a great way to learn) Many people thought i was super confident, some even thought maybe i was bit vain. The truth eventually came out, since childhood i struggled with crippling anxiety, depression and a deep feeling that i was ugly and did not fit in. I bottled it up, hid my feelings behind a mask, I created a New Me! so whenever the mask cracked, instead of help I just received criticism to the point of being bullied at work, made to feel even more worthless, constantly told I was not good enough. But I finally broke down the walls, faced my demons head on, I am very open about the fact every day i deal with Mental Illness, but i do deal with it!!!!!!! I am stronger & happier than ever, now starting my own business, head held high. So if your struggling and your being told your not good enough, YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. So go talk to someone, it National Talk To Someone Day DO IT
