Oil price Average per year Trump vs Biden's Presidency
My fellow oilfield colleagues, do not let the noise fool you. If you support the oilfield there is only one way you should vote for president. Vote for Biden. Vote Democrats!
Since the Truman administration in 1945, the?compound annual growth rate?(CAGR)?of oil production has averaged growth of 2.6% when Democrats controlled the White House, compared to a flat 0.1% average when Republicans were in charge. https://www.hartenergy.com/news/rystad-energy-how-oil-has-performed-under-dem-gop-presidents-189370
Politicians will say whatever they have to for votes. They might say they are backing the oilfield, when really they would rather have low oil prices because they think more of the lower costs on goods will make them look better (that's what Trump was like). They may say they are against oil because that appeals to the environmentalists votes, when they really know the importance of oil for security & the economy (like Biden). Historically when a Democrat is in the white house, oil prices are generally higher than when a Republican is in the white house.
Stand up for the oilfield & voice your support for Biden!!!
Under Trump we experienced the only time in history when the price of oil went below $0. US crude finished?April 20, 2020, at minus-$37 a barrel, blowing past the zero mark that few imagined would ever be crossed. Negative oil is the equivalent of getting paid by your local Starbucks to take coffee off its hands.
