EUROPE
Snam and Eni announce that transactions have closed for Snam's acquisition of a 49.9% stake in an Italian company to which the Eni Group contributed the stakes held in the companies operating the two groups of international gas pipelines linking Algeria to Italy, is expected mid-January 2023.
RWE announces an agreement with Sempra Infrastructure for the purchase of approximately 2.25 million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Port Arthur LNG gas liquefaction terminal in Texas. The terminal should start its activities in 2027.
GTT takes stock of its projects in Russia in relation to European sanctions and announces henceforth stopping its activities in Russia. GTT's order book will no longer include projects in Russia in the future.
Uniper has received the first shipment of 170,000 m3 of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Germany at the Wilhelmshaven regasification terminal. The LNG was loaded on December 19, 2022 at Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass liquefaction terminal in Louisiana.
PKN ORLEN has finalized the acquisition of part of the activities of the Polish plastics manufacturer, Basell Orlen Polyolefins
Vopak and Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies will form a joint venture called LOHC Logistix, for the storage, transport and supply of hydrogen based on Hydrogenious' Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) technology.
Equinor and RWE will develop projects to replace coal-fired power plants with hydrogen-ready gas-fired power plants in Germany, and expand low-carbon, renewable hydrogen production in Germany. Norway which will be exported by pipeline to Germany
The certification body DNV has validated the Baltic Pipe offshore project with an annual capacity of 10 billion cubic meters of gas, which will create a new gas supply corridor for the European market
Odfjell Drilling has entered into a contract with PGNiG to drill one well with the Deepsea Yantai platform in PL 1055 in the Norwegian Sea, with the option to drill two more wells in 2024.
In 2022 PGNIG (Orlen Group) received 58 LNG shipments, or 4.4 million tonnes, at the President Lech Kaczyński terminal in Poland
Transocean announces the award or extension of contracts for five of its drilling platforms, in the Gulf of Mexico in the United States, in the British North Sea, in Norway and in Suriname. The total amount of the contracts amounts to 488 million dollars.

CGG and TGS announce the second phase of the 3D multi-client study of Foz do Amazonas, located in the equatorial margin of Brazil. The first PSDM imagery products will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023, the final products are expected from the third quarter of 2024.
Shearwater GeoService announces a contract from Petrobras to carry out a 4D seismic survey for the fields Jubarte and Tartaruga Verde in the Santos Basin in Brazil. The duration of the interventions for the two sites is eight months.
- ASIA - OCEANIA
Chevron Lummus Global LLC (CLG) announces a contract from Shandong Yulong Petrochemical for a 3.0 MMTA capacity tailings hydrocracking unit. The project includes technology licensing, engineering, proprietary reactor internals and catalyst supply.
TGS will carry out a new 2D multi-client seismic program off Bangladesh in partnership with SLB and Petrobangla.
Baker Hughes announces contract for Bhd.'s Kasawari Offshore Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) Project. from Petronas to Sarawak in Malaysia. The supply includes compressors used to enable transport and re-injection of CO2 separated from natural gas into a depleted offshore field via an undersea pipeline.
GTT has received an order from the Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co. Ltd. for the design of the tanks of six new LNG carriers, on behalf of several Asian shipowners. Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the third quarter of 2027 and the fourth quarter of 2028
JGC in consortium with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI announce a contract from Petronas to perform the engineering, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) for Petronas. The FLNG will have a capacity processing capacity of 2 Mt/year and its commissioning is scheduled for 2027.
