·??????Everyone loves a deal with 60% of domestic respondents saying they would stay longer (and spend more on experiences, food and drink) if they had a good holiday deal such as an extra nights’ accommodation for free.?
·??????In our increasingly experience focussed visitor economy, accommodation is seen by travellers as much more than ‘just a bed for the night.’ ?It plays a hugely important role in holiday planning for international and domestic travellers and is often the primary decision influencer (particularly amongst young people).

·??????A hang over from the pandemic is the worry over booking a long way in advance. Accommodation providers need to be really clear about their refund policies and support late-booking options.?However, even though a third of visitors book close to their travel date – the planning cycle is typically starting much earlier so it is important to ensure communications still hit at the relevant times.
