Oh what a year!

Oh what a year! A phrase I possibly use at the end of each year. Started with a bumpy ride when the doctors told me I will have to get under the knife very soon, something I have always been scared of all my life. The thought that I will fall sick even after a healthy life style never occurred to me. But such is life, expect the unexpected.?

This has been a year of transformation. I recovered after a health issue which I ignored imagining the worse. So when the surgery happened, it turned out to be tiny little issue! All is well that end’s well. I recovered fully with god's grace. The year taught me no problem is big enough. It is our perspective.?

This has been a year of making new friends, losing some old ones. I guess when you are evolving and changing, you will have new people to vibe with you and some will change paths. That is alright. Such is life. Just thank them for putting up with you and bless them for the future.?

This is the year where I celebrated even the little joys of life. The second wave changed me a bit. I realised there is no tomorrow. I saw people losing loved ones each day. It was overwhelming to see how we wait to celebrate little joys of life and realise this time will never come. Just seize the moment and cherish!

This is the year I adopted two old dogs, sadly lost one of them in November. Living with a 16 year old dog and understanding his needs taught me how amazing it is to do things for people when they don’t even ask. The feeling is priceless.?

This the year I got back to reading again. I realise how much I missed reading. There is so much joy in sipping your favourite cup of chai with a book. The last book I read was Autobiography of a Yogi which has helped me a lot in my spiritual journey.?

Oh what a year! Last but not the least, I would like to be grateful for everything that happened this year, the good and the bad, it came as a lesson.
