Today we launched our new podcast #FromPage2Stage.
Woopie do, you may be thinking. What's so marvellous about that. There are so many podcasts out there, why make a song and dance about another one?
OK, that's a good point.
So the premise of the podcast is that it is for authors looking to bring their written words to life by speaking from "stage". This can be a daunting task for some folks.
So the best way to get started talking about your book, in my humble opinion, is to be a guest on a podcast. I mean, it's a one on one conversation, right?
Today saw the launch with 10 episodes going live of authors who have also taken up the mantle of speaking. Some started on stage and then backed up their words in writing. Others have done the page to stage journey.
All of them were inspiring to those who are not so sure of this speaking mularky.
I have a number of episodes already recorded from those who have done both the writing and the speaking. They will be released on YouTube on Monday/Thursday (Malaysia time) so please do check them out.
If you are an author, in the process of writing or even in the actively curious re writing space, do check it out and consider being a guest for a future episode.
All our episodes are up on YouTube in video format first and foremost as I believe in the power of video to see the all the non-verbal communication. We will put them up on audio channels in a few weeks and will have a launch for that too.

Why the party?
Last year I contributed to 2 International Bestsellers and we had Launch Parties for them so I thought I would bring that "page" element to this podcast "stage" especially as we are initially publishing in video format.
It really was great fun.
