Happy 2016 to you my dear readers! I need to take a moment to tell you how appreciative I am of you. I’ve been writing now every week for more than a dozen years and I remain humbled that I have you out there. Not only to tell me that you enjoy receiving emails from me, but that you often share these musings with others. So again, thank you and let’s look forward to the “conversations” we will have in 2016!
Each new year puts a stake in the ground. Whether we’re the type of people who make resolutions or not, there’s no denying that each new year has a mark on the timeline that gives us pause and an opportunity to plan and measure so we can hopefully move along our lifeline in an upward and forward trajectory that makes us happy and fulfilled professionally. Logic and past learning tells us that to reach any goal we need a plan. But do we? Don’t we get a whole lot of things done that we never planned for.
