Boy Swallows Universe is his first book. Have you read it?

I haven’t read a book that isn’t ‘real’ - what ever the technical term is - I can never remember - fiction or non-fiction. This story literally had me fully immersed and looking for opportunities to be able to pick it up again from the first page.

Mum kept suggesting to me to read a story book. Give my autistic/ADHD/PDA brain a break from the real world. I kept saying ‘yes mum, I will look out for one’. She gave me one and I put it in my room and never touched it again.

I received an email from my son’s school about a sponsorship opportunity for their annual mother and son event. I was all in. I had said yes last year yet covid entered and the event was canceled. I didn’t read the event details. I love my son's school and I work with mothers leading neurodivergent children so of course, I wanted to support this mother and son event.

His writing has inspired me to dig deeper into my creative bones and get most even more in words.

If you are looking for a new book to read - get Boy Swallows Universe or All Our Shimmering Skies (even though I haven’t read this one Mum says it’s brilliant and she would know people!).

You just never know what the universe has planned.
