Oh, let the Love come Shining through
Rev. Dr. Kwesi Oginga

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland,” (Isaiah 43: 19).
There is a conspicuous revelation of the heart of God towards His human family. Human standards are being noticeably influenced by the love of God, and human hearts are becoming openly and progressively receptive to the ceilings that are shattered.
The human experience is boldly displaying tiredness with the same old, same old. It is finding hope in the changes that are born out of positive human interactions, and positive human expressions that bring the joy of integrity, respect, togetherness, and love in the process. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. He is God of the impossible, and He has got His hand in this.
With the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Mehgan, the world has just witnessed how the power of God’s grace is impacting human history. At the highest of levels, God is showing what it takes to put the spirit of racism, bigotry, man’s domination by man, open hatred, and segregation, in its place.
The hand of God is writing on the wall. Those who have been victims of racism, age, and gender biases and socio-economic disadvantages know, only too well, that any sign of the fulfillment of God’s promises for peace and goodwill among men can feel exceedingly good.
All it takes is love. Those who have ears to hear let them hear. Those who have the heart to understand, let them inspire those without. Those who are willing to engage in the spreading of God's love, let them encourage those who are lacking in strength and enthusiasm. Love gives birth to peace. Peace unites and banishes hatred and segregation from among God's people. Love is a catalyst through which the whole world will prosper.
The United States of America has seen its first non-white president. Through the influence of God's love over the traditional human psyche, a family outside of the norms occupied the well guarded sacred space of the White House and served this nation, and the world.
Now, the British Monarchy has opened up in the presence of God, and before every human eye on the face of this planet, in acceptance for a non-traditional Princess.
A non-traditional preacher addressed the Royal House of Worship, St. George's Chapel, at Windsor Castle, on the importance of pursuing a worldview of Christian love. A quality of love that is needed for the healing of all human hearts, and for the healing of all nations on the face of the earth.
With all of the scientific and technological glory, for which man credits himself, man is forever struggling to accomplish peace, joy, love, and unity to save humanity from itself.
The Holy Spirit seemed to be richly present in the atmosphere to remind us, "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love," (Galatians 5: 13).
What a wonderful day it was for the world. What a great promise it was for humanity to overcome the spirit of intolerance and segregation. The Spirit of God infiltrated the human heart and circumstances at the highest level and the world paused in a moment of celebration.
“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more,” (Isaiah 2: 4).
