A view from our Director of Corporate and Strategic, Sally Phillips

The next phase of Ofgem’s Non-Domestic Market Review (NDMR) is due to start on 1 October 2024, and the final phase has been confirmed for 19 December 2024. These will see an extension of third party intermediary (TPI) commission transparency to all businesses, and the introduction of Small Business Consumer (SBC) classification.?

Sally discusses how the forthcoming changes will benefit businesses in her new blog.

Why data and metering is a business essential

From the smallest business to the largest corporation, every organisation needs an energy meter. It is a vital piece of technology that has a direct impact on both the amount a business pays for its energy, and its carbon footprint.?

With major energy market changes on the horizon, knowing which meter to install, how to appoint a Meter Operator (MOP) and Data Collector (DC) services provider, and how to analyse your energy data, has never been more important.?

Watch our latest video from data and metering specialist, Zoe Burdett, and pre-register for our new guide that outlines why your data and metering service is a business essential.

Did the energy market behave as anticipated this summer? Find out by reading our latest blog from our new Optimisation Desk recruit Ellen Rafferty, as she compares analysis of the market drivers and price movements predicted by the team in our Summer 24 Outlook Paper with what actually occurred.

Ellen also looks at the situation as we head into winter, with healthy levels of European storage taking the pressure off gas prices – at least for now. There’s also a link to register to receive the forthcoming Winter 24/25 Outlook Paper.
