We must invest heavily in ports and infrastructure
-We can only achieve our offshore wind targets if we invest heavily in ports and infrastructure, write?Arvid Nesse, manager of Norwegian Offshore Wind and?Turid Storhaug, CTO of?Windport?in this chronicle in?Energi og Klima.?
Investments in port development are about more than just increasing capacity in the port area itself. We must equip and build infrastructure on shore. The next National Transport Plan will be presented in 2025. We believe that the government must allocate targeted funds to those ports that make a significant investment to be able to deliver to offshore wind.
