Hello and welcome one and all to our reliable round-up of offshore news! Our top spot this week falls to Welltec which has completed the acquisition of Autentik. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to its clients across North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Autentik will allow Welltec to better meet its clients well intervention needs. Innovative solutions are also being introduced to those involved in the US geothermal market as Coretrax successfully delivered its DAV MX circulation sub which was used by an operator where the estimate bottom hole static temperature was 400°C. Elsewhere, in the southern North Sea, Rovco has made headlines after providing Well-Safe Solutions with field survey operations to ensure the safe and efficient decommissioning of a platform. Finally, we close the week with some news of our own as the OWI MENA 2023 conference has broadened its format to help provide key learnings to the well intervention community and the West Africa Well Intervention report – analysing the prosperous opportunities offered by this market – has officially been launched.
