Offline Business Club Goes Digital with CPCS

Objective

A Client requested CPCS to reuse a code written by a third party and build upon it, aiming to develop a web platform and a mobile application for their offline professional association of young business leaders.

Challenge

The Client proposed a number of new features to be implemented: an admin panel with a CRM connection; multi language localization options; filters for end users to search for member profiles; push notifications informing users about events and/or new memberships; event-management tools. All in one, the development request suggested a complete redesign of the platform.

Solution

Although the Client came to us with fixed roadmap vision, CPCS business analysts added a few important security features to the initial development plan. A thorough analysis of the third party code demonstrated that it allowed for personal data breaches. We fixed that by implementing a number of data security methods.

We have also developed and implemented authorization via biometrics. Based on our strategy to rethink user journey experience, the authorization feature via Face ID and fingerprints was one of the steps to enhance UX/UI. Along with the new engaging features and according to the Client’s request, our engineers adopted many solutions from the existing platform. The approach minimized the development hours and reduced costs.

We’ve implemented integration with Zoho CRM, which allows the platform admins to manage the business club’s events and operate with user profiles’ data. The UI / UX enhanced by CPCS has also added to attracting new members. Namely, our new and easy to use search option with its efficient filters has made end users feel more connected within this professional network.
