It is official. Philadelphia City Wage Tax goes up for non-resident workers as of July 1st, 2020.

The Philadelphia City Wage Tax for non-resident workers will increase to 3.5019% effective this Wednesday July 1st, 2020. Philadelphia resident workers will still pay the 3.8712% on all wages earned.

Thus, any payroll checks generated after July 1st should reflect for non-residents the new rate.
