Official launch of the Victorian TAFE International Micro-credential Framework

Educonomy is proud to share that last week it attended the official launch of the Victorian TAFE International (VTI) Micro-credential Framework and the Initial 30 Micro-credentials that have been built by the participating Victorian TAFE Institutes.

With funding made available from the Victorian state government, the Victorian TAFE International division of the Victorian TAFE Association engaged the services of educonomy to develop a micro-credential framework, in collaboration with a number of participating Victorian TAFE Institutes. On completion of the framework, an initial 30 micro-credentials were developed across eight disciplines by the participating TAFE Institutes.

The VTI Micro-credential Framework was also nominated for a 2022 LearnX Award, and was chosen as the winner of the Platinum Award for Best Learning Model - Future Learning, for the joint project led by the Victorian TAFE International, Global Victoria and Educonomy.

We are incredibly proud of the end product and can't wait to see the impact that the participating Victorian TAFE Institutes make as they roll out the micro-credentials across the globe.

In a few short week's time, educonomy founder Matthew Dale & COO Katrina Higham will be presenting a session at the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) in Montreal, sharing the success and initial outcomes of the VTI Micro-credential Framework.
