2. This year's Portsmouth & South Coast Business Week comes in challenging times, according to BusinessMagazine.

This year's fifth annual Portsmouth & South Coast Business Week (#PSCBW) comes at a challenging time and the aim is it will benefit the South's small firms. The event, designed by business for business, takes place across the region with sessions streamed on Facebook Live, from Monday, February 24th until Friday, February 28th this year. It is championed by Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and partners from industry and the public and education sectors.

3. Business Activity Growth in Salisbury Area Reaches 11-Month High, according to Salisbury Journal.

The NatWest South West PMI Business Activity Index, which measures month-on-month changes in the combined output of manufacturing and service sectors, increased from 50.6 in March to 52.9 in April. This growth is attributed to a rise in new work and increased staffing levels. However, business confidence has softened due to concerns about economic uncertainty and rising costs.
