Office of the Ombud for Mental Health at Public Services and Procurement Canada Presents: A Panel Discussion on Workplace Wellness and Mental Health

Thank you to our Deputy Minister Paul Thompson , our moderator Geneviève Corbin , and our panelists Dr. Katy Kamkar Ph.D. C.Psych , and Fran?oys Bernier for participating in the panel?Discussion on Workplace Wellness and Mental Health, with me, as Ombud for Mental Health for Public Services and Procurement Canada | Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada (PSPC).

Close to 1 500 participants!?This event allowed us to say a huge thank you and recognize PSPC employees for their contributions to the department during National Public Service Week.

We certainly want to pursue these important discussions on mental health,?return to the workplace, preventative measures to support employees and prevent burnout, as well as tips to support self-compassion, and resiliency.

The Ombud Office, Mental Health, is mandated to support all PSPC employees across Canada through confidential services.?We can support you if you have facing a difficult workplace issue.?In the last PSES Survey, the vast majority of PSPC employees indicated the department does a good job of raising awareness of mental health in the workplace!?We will continue this very important work! You will see @Kamkar, Katy (SPAC/PSPC) and myself in action across the country, delivering training and workshops.
