Office exercises to increase energy
If you are reading this, chances are you are spending a good amount of time in front of a desk. So here are a few exercises you can do to sharpen your mind and body while looking at your computer (without getting too much attention from your co-workers).
Build your muscles. Put your hands together and press as hard as you can, says user Ashwin D. Kini. You will feel a tension around your chest, shoulder, and arm muscles. This kind of exercise requires minimal movement, but strengthens muscles.
Fold a piece of paper, and make your hand into a fist. Hold it for a few seconds and release. Continue until your arm is sore. It will keep your forearms in shape and strengthen your grip, allowing your lift heavier things.
If you have a standing desk, get up and start tipping back and forth from heel to toe (I'm actually doing it as I am writing this). Follow the instructions on the illustration.
