Office close: An opportunity to become more conscious about where and with whom we work

As you might have heard we are closing the Microsoft office in the Netherlands for 2 months. Yes, it's true: I will be office-less for 2 months! Because it’s time for a full Refresh of our office space.

Ten years ago, Microsoft Netherlands introduced the “new world of work” and we are now developing a renewed vision on working (together) today and tomorrow. Together with our architect (D/Dock), we are refreshing the office to work smarter, whether alone or together with colleagues, partners, and customers. Our new building will show how one can make optimal use of innovations and digital transformation to enable people and organizations to achieve more, have positive impact on what matters, and get more life in a day.

Due to the Refresh renovations our office building will close from January 1st until March 5th. Of course, during this period we are open for business! We see the closing as a beautiful opportunity for colleagues to become more conscious of the choices one makes about where and with whom we work. And I'm curious where I'll end up spending my time and which people I'll meet.

From spring 2018, Spaces https://www.spacesworks.com/nl, and Microsoft will, together, offer a completely new environment at Schiphol Airport. This will be the breeding place for co creation, networking and surprising new relationships between customers, partners, and colleagues of both companies.
