Offering value or begging for opportunities ?

Ideas . Innovations . Structures . Techniques . Strategies
Just because people reject it at first introduction doesn't mean the idea is dumb or useless.
Centuries and generations have passed and one thing is constant, the first reaction to change or introduction to a new thing isn't always the smoothest. There is always a lot of opposition and mosttimes its due to ignorance and our brain shielding us from the unfamiliar.
When you share your big ideas and solutions with people you would get some unimpressed looks like ''Oh you want to make us uncomfortable!, No one will like that'' But then that's how AI came in, disrupted and gained grounds.
Sometimes all your ideas need from you is to have faith in them and keep pushing so they can fully manifest as they can't come to life without a source. When i started my book club i didn't think people wanted to read, but then people signed up when i took the bold step to talk about it then it made sense to me to stop questioning great ideas that come to my mind (It's not easy but i always remind myself to do it without retreating because of fear of the unknown).
Even people who need it might hold back a bit to be sure it can stand the test of time, your job is to keep it moving while improving on them.
Great ideas shouldn't die because people have doubts!

Special Message
Dear creatives,
I have had the opportunity to see life from two angles, offering value and begging for an opportunity and i will tell you this, no one wants to add an unproductive or basic person to their team even if they have all the money in the world.
Don't beg for a position when you have value to offer. Take for instance, when we get in contact with a director or CEO of a company, we are sometimes moved to beg and call consistently asking them to give us a role but then what do you really want to do for them, add value to their company or increase their payroll?
When you beg, you give people the opportunity to look down on you, ghost you or offer you less!
Do you just want any job to survive or one where you get to grow and impact greatly in the growth of the company?
In the end we are all attracted to value, no one ever turns down value so be irresistible!
If you need to go back to school, take a course, volunteer or learn a new skill to gain more knowledge, do it now. Begging for jobs or money only gives you temporary satisfaction and if you don't offer anything great while enjoying the proceeds of begging, you'll be back to begging again.

5 个月Begging should not even be in the option. It makes people trample upon and underestimate what you can actually do. Most importantly it makes you lose value!
