The OECD is certainly together with the United Nations a major driver in the international fight against corruption. BIAC, the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD, is the "Voice of the Business" at OECD and is directly interacting with the OECD and especially the OECD Working Group on Bribery on all relevant policy topics. A good overview of our work can be found at the BIAC Anti-Corruption Homepage and by reading the actual Activity update.

Economic Crime Prevention
6 年The BIAC input to the OECD working party on state ownership and privatisation practices is worth reading and reflecting on, with issues ranging from responsible business conduct and corruption risk to fair competition and inward investment screening. The BIAC recommendations for transparency and scrutiny make sense, but adoption by non-participants seems ambitious - even assuming OECD agreement provided a platform to lobby the G20.
