ODROID-N2L - A smaller, less expensive version of the ODROID-N2+ Arm SBC

A 69 x 56mm (2.7′′ x 2.2′′) #singleboardcomputer from HARDKERNEL featuring an Amlogic S922X hexa-core processor, up to 4GB of RAM, compatibility for up to #eMMC and microSD card storage, and a?starting price of $59 is available now.

The?ODROID-N2L?is significantly smaller than its larger sister, the #ODROID-N2+, and a #RaspberryPi Model B. A few features had to be sacrificed by #Hardkernel in order to reduce the size, however, the firm claims that these concessions were made in response to consumer requests for a smaller model.

Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth are not supported by the new ODROID-N2L. You'll need a USB adaptor if you want to add any network connectivity. Fewer USB ports and no separate audio connectors are present. And the speed of the #CPU is a little bit slower.

Hardkernel claims that the ODROID-2NL is appropriate for #robots, #drones, #arcade consoles, and other systems that do not need built-in networking capability due to its reduced size, which makes it easy to attach the device "to a variety of compact devices."

The #tinycomputer also switches its #DDR4 memory for #LPDDR4 memory, which uses less room. The benefit, according to Hardkernel, is that LPDDR4 memory is speedier and consumes less power.

According to Hardkernel, the?ODROID-N2L?supports #Android and #Linux and may be used with a fan or heat sink.?Disk images?for #EmuELEC, #Ubuntu 22.04, and #Android 9.0 are available from the firm.
