The Odisha government has provided a total subsidy of Rs 154.27 crore to electric vehicle (EV) owners since the 2022-23 fiscal year, according to Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena. In a written statement to the assembly, Jena noted that EV sales in Odisha have been rising since the state began offering subsidies on September 1, 2021.
