An ode to the office

And did those feet in ancient time

Walk upon office carpets green:

Or was the holey laminate (floor),

On video-conferences seen!

And didn’t the agile CEO

Tear down the walls of crowded rooms?

And was the open office builded here

Among these dark Satanic loons?

Bring me my bowl of cereal:

Bring me my coffee from Pret or EAT;

Bring me my desk: O files unfold!

Bring me my warm and comfy seat.

I will not cease my daily commute,

despite all the struggles I will face

Till we have built Jerusalem;

some kind of new co-working space.
