An ode to my PUMALife!

I knew this moment was approaching every step of the way, and I made sure to live every second of the journey.

Puma happened to me in the most crucial initial days of my professional career and immediately gave me a sense of belongingness. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, yet it just felt right from the get go.

The journey I've had with this people has been nothing short of remarkable. I got an opportunity to work with some amazing folks, aces of their responsibilities. My immediate team, the same people who taught me work at PUMA, were kind enough to welcome me with open arms as their Manager subsequently. I've never felt the need to exert responsibilities anywhere, everything was just so cordial with this team.

Coming to the accolades part of it, folks at PUMA, enabled me to achieve every milestone I could possibly lay my eyes on. I did get multiple "CAT of the Quarter" awards, "ACE Cards", "Scoop Cards" during my initial days. The year in which I was promoted to be the "Manager and Teamhead" for the Retail Controllership, was my breakout year at PUMA. For which, I did receive the "Finance Wizard of the Year" award, a beautiful looking cat trophy! One of my biggest achievement was, ensuring that another member of my immediate team got that award the year after. That moment I understood, what being a manager actually means. Apart from work, well I also managed to get "Influencer of the Year" award in my first full PSL season. Style cards also helped me elevate my fashion sense. Cherry on top, I was able to be a part of a Guinness World Record too!

Something that infused life in PUMA, was the culture-hang part of it, with PSL (Puma Sports Life league). Right from going on a trek with 25 complete strangers, to being elected as the co-owner of one of the PSL teams in my first auction, it's been a crazy journey. Playing sports, performing stand-ups, roasting colleagues, hosting events and stars, dancing and rapping my heart out, contesting elections and winning it, getting wasted at parties... just some of the stuff I've done here in the name of PSL. Never a monotonous day, never a dull moment!

The best thing that PSL gave me, was my team: Mavericks! What a crazy bunch of people. In so much ups and downs, we held our heads up high and contested every competition with full spirit. I was so proud to be a part of this team. I've learnt so much from them, laughed, partied and won battles with them. Forever in my heart, Maverick for life!

The best part about PUMA were the people who work there. You can talk to anyone, about any given thing, at any point of time, and they'll all be open to it. You never felt that position was a hindrance anywhere. I've shared my bond with all directors and heads there, something I never thought is possible, that too in first stint of my career. Everyone around made things so easy and made sure that we work together, party together, slay together! It's the PUMA spirit that drove us all. This workplace felt like home, colleagues felt like family.

PUMA gave me everything I could ask for, and more. I lived here everyday, by living life everyday. Laughed a lot, learnt a lot. My experience here turned out to be a dream start for me. The more I see the world outside, the more I cherish my days here. I had to leave it all in the rear view mirror for some new beginnings, but I takeaway a piece of PUMA in my heart, and also leave a piece of mine there. The craziest thing for me was, my workplace having a picture of me on the wall, with the quote saying "There is a legacy here that each of us carry on." Guess that's what I did, guess that's what I want others here to do too.

PUMA will always be more than a workplace for me. It is where I faced the toughest of challenges, it is where I learnt what being a professionalism means. It is where I saw what the world is like. It gave me the freedom to fly, it gave me the will to rise. I'll remember everyone I met here with all my heart. The spirit of PUMA in me, will stay wherever I go. To eternity! To days of Future Past!
