About the Client

OD Talent Solutions was set up by Laura O’Driscoll in 2017, and has had a strong presence in the recruitment agency industry ever since. Their mission is to provide a real point of difference in the outsourced recruitment industry. They do this through delivering real, honest and valuable advice and delivering outstanding service that you can trust.

Through significant growth, OD Talent Solutions needed a new website to match what they could provide to people looking for a job and businesses looking to employ staff. With a strong brand already in place, we created an effective and responsive website that exceeded their needs.?

Initial Stages?

We worked closely with the client at the beginning of the project, to ensure that we could consider all of their ideas and needs, so that we could provide the best solution for them.?

The site has a fairly large sitemap, with multiple journeys that the user can take, so it was important that we got this exactly as it needed to be, before we took the project any further.?

Once we had this confirmed, we created a wireframe using a mix of sketches, Adobe software and Figma, to prototype and gain feedback.?

Website Design

The aim of the new website was to provide?a lightweight and quick-to-navigate experience, allowing users to easily and effortlessly find the information they are looking for.

We also needed to ensure that only the correct sections were on display for specific site users. We did this by adding a custom landing page which allows people to select whether they are a candidate or an employer. Based on this selection, the user will be given access to the necessary areas of the website.

The site was built on the WordPress content management system, which allows the client to easily alter site content over time with its extremely user friendly interface.

Web Development

Throughout the Website redesign, we were tasked with developing a range of custom blocks to help bring the site to life.

The bespoke landing page, as previously mentioned, needed to allow the site to differentiate the specific user, to ensure they are viewing the correct areas of the website.?

On top of this, we also developed a range of stunning content areas such as a creative content toggle, some custom button animations, an attractive ‘Meet the Team’ grid, and a well structured ‘step-by-step’ process section.

We also needed to create an automated quote generation form so that employers could fill in their requirements, and be instantly provided with the information needed.

Animated Logo

With the switch element featuring heavily through the website, we thought it would be great if OD Talent Solutions had an animated logo to enhance its brand.?

It features the switch turning on, with the word on appearing. The switch then spins and the rest of the logo appears with a smooth fade effect.?
