Golfing FORE Good!

On September 30, we held the 8th Annual Carson Higgins Memorial Golf Outing at the Country Club of Hudson, and it was a great success! 148 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day on the golf course to support the CarsonStrong Foundation. Together, we raised over $180,000 to make a positive impact on children and families affected by cancer and other life challenges.

The day was filled with enjoyable moments on the course, delicious food, games, and unwavering support. The funds raised from this year’s event will enable us to continue supporting initiatives such as the Gift of Time Together, the Carson Higgins Memorial Scholarship, and the introduction of a therapy horse named Carson to Victory Gallop.?

The Mercator Club of Columbus Awards CarsonStrong $3,000 Grant

The Mercator Club of Columbus is a 101-year-old service group consisting of many businesses and professionals in the Columbus area. The club's main objectives revolve around raising funds for youth-oriented agencies and services.

We want to express our gratitude to Mark Hulka for nominating the CarsonStrong Foundation for their Giveaway Grant. This grant will enable us to provide the Gift of Time Together to a deserving family dealing with cancer.

Gift of Time Together Family Spotlight

Kylene is in the middle of battling breast cancer but that doesn’t stop her from being a wife and a mother. Her treatment is intense, and the road has been hard, but it’s also been hard to spend quality time with her family.

To take a break from the hospital visits, sick days, and other stressors Kylene along with her family stayed in a gorgeous cabin for a few days. During their trip, they were able to play games as a family, make meals together, and enjoy beautiful scenery.

Their family photoshoot will cement a time in Kylene’s battle that was challenging but offers memories of being together and enjoying their time.

Who We Are

Founded in 2017, the CarsonStrong Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children and families impacted by cancer and other significant life challenges.

Carson Gene Higgins courageously faced neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer that affects the body’s nervous system. While Carson’s life was short, it was rich with faith, hope, love, and strength. His examples of kindness and generosity encourage us to live and love richly, to take each day as a gift, and to give generously.

Together, we can bring hope to other families facing difficult and sometimes devastating life challenges.
