Inigo’s Trip to Houston??

Inigo’s returning client, United Airlines, continues to offer Inigo incredible opportunities for members to take part in. Throughout our relationship, Inigo has worked with United’s safety team, creating infographics, style guides and other design projects for internal use. The United team allows us to showcase our creativity while we create real work for real clients. Last semester, United flew a team of Inigoans to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., which was a monumental moment for our agency. At the end of the year, Inigo was eager to continue working with United to see where our partnership could travel to next.??

Our adventure to the Capital was so successful that United Airlines wanted to recreate it with this semester's talent. On Oct. 19, nine Inigoans boarded an early flight out of O'Hare International Airport and flew the friendly skies down to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Our staff and a group of United team members headed straight to the tarmac and got to work. ?

Standing under the Boeing 737s, our staff captured content from photographs, to video footage and employee interviews. New members of the staff had a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience.?

Paulina Clark , a first-time creative design coordinator, shared her experience, noting, “I gained a lot of insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes of a flight that makes every traveler's journey – from takeoff to landing and every part in between – safe and secure. Not only that but I got to experience firsthand how much safety is prioritized for the below-the-wing workers. During our time on the tarmac, Inigo was wearing safety vests and earplugs to ensure the safety standards were being met.?It was so great being able to be talk with marshallers and ramp agents while capturing content of United's fantastic employees!”?

Our PR coordinator, Lillian Niziolek , and copywriting coordinator, Emma Kammholz , used their interpersonal skills to interview United’s safety employees about their experience on the job. ?

A major thank you goes to our very own United account coordinator, Natalie Collison , as she planned the trip details with our client, communicating effectively to ensure success.??

Collison shared, "The United client trip to Houston was incredible! It was great to meet the wonderful United safety employees for whom we do our client work. Capturing content on the tarmac and getting a behind-the-scenes look into United's ‘"real-life'" work was such a unique experience that we will never forget!"?

We brought behind-the-scenes content to our own social media platform thanks to our promotional coordinator, Caroline Shasek . By creating an Inigo x United Takeover Instagram story highlight, she gave our audience an inside look into our trip.??

The trip down to Texas was not only a major step towards growth for our agency, but it was also a sentimental moment for the team members who experienced it. The team bonded with each other as they woke up early, worked diligently throughout the day and flew back home. They came back to class the next week sharing stories of wearing United merch, eating Texan barbecque and having meaningful conversations with United employees. ??

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunities United has offered Inigo in the past, and we are excited to continue our line of work with them in the future. Our partnership has strengthened our agency, both with our legacy and the quality of work we produce, and we cannot thank United Airlines, especially our United contacts, enough.?
