Partnership Updates
Accelerating Innovation & Digitalization (AID), Imagine H2O Asia’s latest initiative with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Development Bank, officially launched last week. Opened by ADB’s Director General, Chief Sector Officer and Chief of Water Sector Group, the session was joined by 50+ attendees including both ADB staff and their executing agencies. AID is a knowledge and capacity building program for ADB’s developing member countries and staff that helps make water innovation more accessible across Asia and the Pacific.
Gradiant , a global solution provider and developer of Cleantech water projects for advanced water and wastewater treatment, joins Imagine H2O’s growing network of Tech Adopters.

With over 21k views, our pilot video on FieldFactors is showcasing how how they’re collecting rainwater in cities to turn it into a freshwater supply used for watering plants, sports fields, and more. As the Urban Water Challenge 2021 winner, we supported their deployment with coaching, mentoring, and financing. Learn more about how they are making European cities more sustainable. Fluid Analytics.Ai , an Urban Water Challenge 2021 finalist, helps cities map their water pipelines and monitor wastewater quality. With our support, they have been able to inspect over 1B liters of urban water pollution. Here’s a sneak peak into what we helped them achieve. EnvironSens (IH2O Asia Cohort 1) has successfully deployed two of their Integrated Intelligent BioSensor systems in Vietnam this month in collaboration with Saigon Water Supply Corporation (SAWACO). The systems will be placed at a pumping station in the Thu Duc Water Treatment Plant, and will monitor SAWACO’s raw water intake downstream of Dong Nai River to evaluate the I2BioS’ suitability for the river’s water conditions as well as other applications. SmartTerra (IH2O Asia Cohort 2) has begun the first stage of its pilot with two small public utilities in the Philippines, supported by the Water Technology Access Partnership (WTAP) – a joint initiative between the World Bank and Imagine H2O Asia. The pilot aims to reduce the utility’s non-revenue water through the implementation of their MeterCity and NetCity solution platform, which generates AI-driven analytics for both apparent and real losses. gokul krishna govindu

Decentralized Safe Water for Asia Workshop | November 11
Imagine H2O is co-hosting a day long event with Drinkwell , P4G Partnerships , and Dhaka WASA. This event will include a workshop exploring the challenges and opportunities for Bangladesh’s water utilities in scaling and financing access to drinking water. An innovation showcase and a VIP session featuring new partnership announcements will follow. Dignitaries speaking at the event include the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives, as well as senior representatives from Dhaka WASA, Chittagong WASA and Rajshahi City Corporation.
