PROJECT UPDATES

Kimberley Region Residential Builds

Our WA Team has been diligently applying the finishing touches on several homes in the breathtaking Kimberley region. They are expertly installing composite decking boards, using Modwood's ‘Sahara’ product, to harmonise with the natural landscape of the area. This innovative material is not only eco-friendly but also offers exceptional durability and low maintenance, making it ideal for outdoor living spaces.

The rich, warm tones of the decking blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of each home while providing a durable and sustainable outdoor space. The combination of modern design with natural elements creates a perfect balance, offering a peaceful retreat that celebrates the unique beauty of the region.

Aged Care Development

Our Carpenters have successfully begun the installation of the light gauge framing at our aged care project in Melbourne. This crucial phase is designed to enhance the structural integrity and overall efficiency of the building. In tandem with the framing installation, we are also overseeing all aspects of the structural steel installation, ensuring that every component meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Our experienced professionals are committed to employing advanced techniques and materials, allowing us to deliver a durable and sustainable facility that will serve the community's needs for years to come.

Canopy Installation

This month saw the commencement of the light gauge steel installation for the new canopy on Smith Street, situated in the lively heart of Fitzroy. This project aims to enhance the streetscape, creating a visually appealing area for the community. Our talented team is utilising advanced techniques to ensure precision and durability throughout the construction process. The light gauge steel not only enables a lightweight yet robust structure but also supports the sustainability of the build.

Hampton Window Installation

Our window team kicked off the month with high energy in Hampton, embarking on a short program installation of double-glazed windows and doors. This project showcases our dedication to both efficiency and quality craftsmanship, as the team works meticulously to ensure each unit is installed to the highest standards. The double-glazed windows and doors not only enhance aesthetic appeal but also significantly improve energy efficiency, reducing heating and cooling costs while providing enhanced comfort year-round. Our experienced professionals are leveraging advanced techniques and precision tools to ensure a seamless fit and finish.

CULTURE

This month, some of the ACL & Melwood Joinery team enjoyed a surprise evening out to break up the week and thank them for all their hard work.

Ensuring we make time for team bonding is essential to fostering our strong company culture and nurturing a workplace where everyone feels valued and motivated.
