Microsoft MVP Perks: Navigating Confidential Insights for Content Creation (by Teresa Cyrus & Dan Rey)

Being a Microsoft MVP allows you to gain insights about their products and services directly from the product engineers. However, it comes with a catch. Some of the information shared is confidential and cannot be disclosed until Microsoft makes an official announcement.

But there is a benefit to being an MVP. You can use the insights to prepare your content in advance and have it ready to go as soon as it gets fact-checked with the public announcement.

For example, you have all seen the new Office Theme that was announced in late September. This announcement originated with feedback for five new fonts commissioned to replace Calibri. MVPs in Microsoft 365 apps and services were given early looks at not only the font but also the implementation of it in the Microsoft 365 apps we all use every day. Word/Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel!

Conflict: The Catalyst for Growth: Every great story needs a twist. Inject a conflict, a challenge for your protagonist, and then reveal the resolution. This tension is what keeps your audience on the edge of their seats.

Scene-Setting Magic: Paint a vivid picture of the story's world. Allow your audience to step into this captivating environment you're crafting and watch the connection flourish.

Tone: The Emotion Conductor: Ensure your storytelling tone mirrors the emotions you wish to evoke. Use words that resonate emotionally with your audience.

By incorporating these elements of character, conflict, scene, and tone, you can craft emotionally appealing content that fosters genuine connections with your audience. So, embrace the incredible power of storytelling and get ready to soar to new heights in your content marketing journey! Your stories have the potential to inspire and captivate – so go out there and make your
