The new BY has already started, and we cannot wait to embark on this new journey filled with many adventures to look forward to. Buckle up and let us guide you through the inspiring events of this October!?

First of all, this month started with the Physical Meeting of two EUROAVIA’s Working Groups: Statutes & Bylaws and Communication. These sessions sparked many great ideas, setting a strong direction for upcoming projects. During this time, the Back-Up Coordinator of the Communication Working Group Athina Athanasaki was officially elected as the group’s new Coordinator, marking an exciting new phase for the team. Additionally, we are thrilled to present our Member of the Month, Catarina Oliveira, who stood out during the Statutes & Bylaws meeting by offering crucial support to help everyone finish the work on time.?

Secondly, we're proud to announce that there will be a third edition of the PACE Contest, brought to you by PACE Aerospace & IT in cooperation with EUROAVIA. The aim of the challenge is to design an HMI for large-screen cockpits that reduces pilot workload and enables solo operations. Participants will have exclusive access to VAPS Product Family, PACE's HMI software tools for safety-critical and mission-critical display applications. They will enrich your knowledge through immersive training sessions conducted by seasoned industry professionals and will have the opportunity to present their ideas to experts at PACE Days, an engineering conference held in Berlin. The first round of applications will open on the 6th of November, at 12:00 UTC.?

Last but not least, we want to extend our congratulations to this year’s winners of the EUROPEAN ROTORS competition ROTORTHON 2024: team Saturn, composed of Alia Elhalawani, Abdelateef Negmelden and Aya Abdelrahman. The aim of the competition was to provide visions and solutions for future problems of urban air mobility and VTOL operations. Examples include concepts for the next generation of VTOLs, public acceptance of urban mobility, support for disaster relief, or joint use of drones and rotorcraft for the same mission.??
