Global Energy Group and Apollo Strengthen Strategic Partnership
Featured in Energy Voice, our move to Aberdeen’s heart
This month, we appeared in Energy Voice, spotlighting our recent move to 10 Queen’s Terrace.
Our new central location isn’t just an address—it symbolises our growth, our strengthened partnerships, and our commitment to providing a top-tier environment for our team.
We’re thrilled by the possibilities this new space brings and look forward to sharing it with you.
Successful Trials of Apollo’s PALM Charger
Remote marine EV charging, one step closer!
Back in February, Apollo and our partners secured nearly £800k in government funding through the Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition to bring the PALM Charger to life.
We’re excited to share that the trials at Scapa Flow, in collaboration with Leask Marine Ltd and EMEC: European Marine Energy Centre, have been a resounding success!
It’s a glimpse into the future of marine EV operations, with in-field charging that brings us closer to low-carbon solutions on the water.
LinkedIn Live: Join us on November 7th
Don’t miss our upcoming LinkedIn Live session on November 7th at 1pm, where we’ll dive into risk-based modelling of the UK’s integrated energy strategy.
Our expert panel—Donna Sutherland, Angela Mathis, and Phil Westmorland—will discuss how decentralised energy systems can support UK energy security, affordability, and decarbonisation goals.
Be part of the conversation that shapes the future.
Case Study Spotlight: Pioneering Gigawatt-Scale Offshore Wind Installation
In partnership with DOF for ORE Catapult, Apollo has developed a comprehensive study tackling the unique challenges of installing a Gigawatt-scale floating offshore wind farm.
This work delves into cost-efficient solutions, streamlined schedules, and innovative methodologies designed to overcome critical installation bottlenecks—paving the way for scalable, sustainable offshore wind deployment.
Success at Floating Offshore Wind
Apollo had a fantastic time at this year’s Floating Offshore Wind event, connecting with industry leaders, showcasing our latest innovations, and engaging with clients on the challenges and solutions shaping offshore wind’s future.
Highlights included our interactive game, Super Moor-io Brothers, which put attendees' mooring skills to the test.
