A couple of weeks ago, my co-host David Pawsey and I ran a life podcast event discussing how to overcome adversity and prevent suicide with Marc Convey and Rose Rowkins . A room filled of enthusiastic middle aged (mainly) blokes who want to break the stigma of men not talking about their mental and physical health issues. This is important to me.

Despite my own adversity, overcoming seven redundancies, and having maintained a well balanced life without too much trauma, I know others aren't as lucky.?

That's why I work with a lot of executives on clarity and self-awareness in order to avoid burnout and become more compassionate leaders of themselves and others. More info below.

Chapter 14 of my best selling book 'Principles for Success' talks about Success and Balance. I quote Louis Efron who says a balanced life is critical to success. Once you define how you want to live, you have to decide how you support it through a job. For many of us it's the other way around.

That's why you need clarity, particularly as you move up the career ladder, taking on more responsibility - you will get to a point of reflection. And that's where I help. What is important in your life? What do you want?
