As the leaves begin to change and we welcome the cooler days of fall, Random Acts of Flowers is reflecting on a month full of heartwarming connections, impactful deliveries, and preparations for the busy holiday months ahead.

Last month, we proudly kicked off our 2nd annual Nourish the Soul initiative in partnership with Knoxville-Knox County CAC Office on Aging Mobile Meals. Together, we brightened the days of hundreds of homebound seniors by delivering beautiful arrangements alongside meals. The smiles and stories shared have shown us how a simple bouquet can transform someone’s day and made us extra thankful for this continued collaboration. Check out one volunteer's thoughts below!

Our team has been hard at work fostering relationships with mission partners. In September, we united with Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance for #RehabWeek where 525 arrangements were delivered to recognize all those hardworking patients recovering and rehabbing from injuries.

Throughout October the partnerships continue as we will be working alongside Breast Connect, Inc. , Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center , and Thompson Comprehensive Breast Center to show support of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth. The month will continue on with special Halloween boo-quets for pediatric patients and a quick trip to spread smiles in Chattanooga! Check back next month for more updates!

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue our special initiative for Veterans Week in November! Veterans Week will honor our nation’s heroes with personalized flower deliveries to local clinics and the Johnson City VA hospital. These flowers are more than just a gift—they are a symbol of appreciation and a reminder that their sacrifices are never forgotten. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved in these upcoming events!

We will be gearing up soon for Giving Tuesday on December 3rd!
