OCTOBER 2024

L to R: Katie Wright, Elly Wilton-Jones, Callum Wright and Annie Symes

The rise of the Cardiff branch

This month our spotlight is firmly on the Cardiff team, who are a super busy bunch!

Supporting healthcare settings across South Wales, including Pembrokeshire with healthcare workers, the team now cover additional areas including catering, domestic staff and domiciliary care.

We visited yesterday and the office was buzzing with positivity! A steady stream of candidates dropped in to sign up, bring documents for compliance checks, and undergo interviews. On top of three client meetings for Katie Wright , she also passed her probation review yesterday, Callum Wright placed a catering candidate in a new role and Angharad Symes brought on her first client ????

Nothing is too much trouble for the team, they are speedy with their shift fulfilment and impeccable with their compliance, thanks to Eleanor Wilton-Jones , Senior Recruitment and Compliance Officer.

Hot off the press - the Cardiff team are recruiting 15 care vacancies in Pembroke and 8 in Brecon. If you'd like more information call the team today on 02921 681 950.

Spotlight on...Matrix

Matrix is an essential service where dedicated relief workers provide essential care and support to individuals in homeless hostels. Both challenging and impactful, these roles require resilience, empathy, and professionalism.

Service users may come from a wide range of backgrounds, including individuals who have served time in prison for committing serious crimes, to those who have faced personal hardships like losing their job and home. Some may struggle with substance misuse.

Despite these complexities, the relief worker’s primary responsibility is to support each individual on their path to rehabilitation. This includes helping them rebuild essential life skills, foster personal accountability, and prepare to reintegrate into society, ultimately enabling them to regain independence and provide for themselves.
