On this month’s Halloween Brunch , I am joined by Steve Herbert , employee benefits, wellbeing and reward expert. ?Two perspectives are always better than one on the two important topics we need to cover:

The second one of 2024 and the first of this Labour UK Government, Chancellor Rachel Reeves will advise how she will deliver on Manifesto promises of change.? Or, more likely, navigate her way around delivering commitments without breaking Manifesto commitments for ‘working people’.?

From our own perspectives, Steve and I will highlight the payroll and reward-related updates from the UK Budget, all in the name of ensuring the profession remains compliant.

Arguably more important than the contents of the UK Budget are the contents of the Labour UK Government’s Employment Rights Bill.? This delivers on the ‘Delivering A New Deal for Working People ’ document published ahead of the General Election and is set to introduce changes for working people (employees and workers) and the employers of the same working people.?

Massive changes ahead, some of which we are able to express our opinions on now.
