The Leader October 2023

The Leader October 2023

Hi there,

This has been an incredible month, full of community spirit and success.

October has proven to be a significant month for our Executive Search business. Our team has achieved unparalleled success, leading to our best financial month to date. This accomplishment underscores the dedication, hard work, and expertise of our talented consultants. We are grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us, and this achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional results. We look forward to continued growth and success in the months to come.

In the spirit of fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, we celebrated World Food Day on the 16th of October. Our employees showcased their culinary talents by preparing dishes from their backgrounds. From savoury Italian lasagne to aromatic Ecuadorian ceviche, our office was transformed into a global culinary journey. This event not only delighted our taste buds but also encouraged cultural exchange and appreciation amongst our team.?

October also marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our team came together to show support and solidarity for this important cause. On the 25th of October, we wore pink to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer research. This meaningful initiative allowed us to contribute to a cause that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our company's success and our shared commitment to making a positive impact within our community. We look forward to what the future holds for us as we continue to grow and thrive. Book

Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things by William McDonough and Michael Braungart

As Morgan Latif are undergoing our B-Corp certification, our team are interested in learning about the global move towards a greener economy.

One of our consultants recommended this book, the authors look at the topic of instead of limiting waste production, the possibility of revising systems of production - to avoid waste altogether. The authors draw ecological principles from nature and question whether improving production methods could revolutionise how we make things and make products more durable to avoid waste.

Recycling e-waste - Good for business and the environment

Keeping with our sustainability focus this month, this short documentary is from a German broadcaster and looks at recycling e-waste and how repairing products is just as important as recycling.

"One way to tackle e-waste is to repair devices rather than throw them out. More companies are doing just that, from recycling solar modules to renting out second-hand smartphones."
