  • The Open Christian University was registered in Nigeria under the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria. Thanks to Dr. Timothy Osarumwense, our Nigeria Campus Dean, who also continues to innovate and revamp our academic designs across the university (look out to relevant coms soon).
  • The Open Christian University was also registered in South Africa, this time as a not-for-profit organization, through CIPC, under the brand name Christian Open Education. Thanks to the team and Prof. Vincent MAZIBUKU, our SA vice-chancellor who continues to drive new positive changes with humility and an eye on the harvest.
  • The Malawi team has successfully completed and submitted the necessary requirements to register Open Christian Ministries with the Government of Malawi. Pending Minister's Certificate of Registration.
  • Our Cameroonian team also initiated the local registration process and conducted a series of ministry outreaches with students across the country.
  • New Bible Colleges: The Open Christian University welcomes a new Bible college formed in Ghana: Community Bible College and Seminary

The Liberia team entered into a partnership with local churches with which the team continued to evangelize and make disciples in different markets and plant new churches as well as place new converts in existing local churches to equip them for the great commission. The Liberia team has also set up an active prayer group, meeting every Wednesday to pray for revival and effective end-time harvesting. The team's next priorities include creating numerous partnerships with local churches for greater reach. Please catch up with the OCM Liberia team every Tuesday for marketplace ministry outreach and Wednesdays for prayer and fasting. Please do not hesitate to contact Rev. Moses (+231 88 041 3240), our Country Director, if you would like to participate or donate a Bible book that continues to be in short supply.

In general, both institutions, Open Christian Ministries and Open Christian University have focused on building teams and systems for effective end-time ministry. We are actively looking for committed ministers who have an eye for the marketplace and the internet community. As we continue to welcome end-time reapers, the following international ministers have kindly agreed to serve with us in October 2022

  • Dr. Robert Muthama Muli becomes the East Africa Regional Director to oversee ministry operations in the region
  • Dr. Timothy Osarumwense Imuwahen, was appointed the Nigeria Campus Dean for Open Christian University
  • Bishop Prof. Dr. Duncan-lee Kyle Phillips, appointed National Director of Ministry in South Africa
  • Rev. Djome Paul Gnagne, Country Director for Open Christian Ministries in C?te d'Ivoire

  • Rev. Dr. Tobias Sitanda Wakhungu from Kenya, Director of Public Relations for the Open Christian University.

Please let us know if anyone falls short of a good witness for our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ.

Finally, brethren, continue to pray for us that the Lord will give us wisdom and strength and open a door for us to preach His word effectively as worthy of His servants. Colossians 4:3-6
