We gained 867 new users in October, extending our total user base to 9,134. The 10K dream is literally around the corner. Celebrations… loading!
Social Media
Our team and mentors are all contributing to making FinMeUp as visible as possible. Our social media goal for October was to fire up our Twitter game. Did it work? Well, the proof is in the pudding. The FinMeUp Twitter page has seen a time high in both user engagement and growth.?
Whilst October was all Twitter-Twitter-Twitter, November will be the catalyst for our YouTube channel. We are launching a brand-new YouTube series: “The Quiz Master”, which will premier later this week.?

The Daily Quiz???
The Quiz (or “Quizzy”, as we call it in the office) has slowly been gaining traction. Though the feature has only been live for two weeks, we have seen an influx of new daily active users, all competing to become “the ultimate quiz master”.?

Money Matters Event???
On 20 October, we hosted the very first FinMeUp event: "Money Matters - an evening of finances, investments, and networking."
The audience was blessed with some amazing speakers and panellists, including?Daniel Strauss,?Smalltalkdaily?(Anthony Clark),?Soul Financial,?Carly Barnes,?and?Higgo van Biljon.
