1. Salary increase projections for 2024: What the numbers say
Payscale , a provider of compensation data – released its annual Salary Budget Survey and?it predicts the average salary increase will reach 3.8%, significantly higher than the typical?3% that has been the standard for decades.?Among the over 1,700 participants in the survey, 78% of employers in the US said their?salary increases would be the same or higher compared to 2023.?However, the number of employers who expect to lower their salary increase budgets?
increased from 9% in 2022 to 22% in 2023.
