Ocean Magazine Issue #88 Out Now!

Welcome to Issue 88 of Ocean Magazine, our final edition for 2019.

The past three months have been an extremely busy time for the Ocean Team, attending both the European boat show circuit and the 60th anniversary of the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. This is where we glean story ideas, meet the movers and shakers in the industry, as well as the owners who make it possible for us all to be involved in such an exciting industry.

Throughout all my travels, the terms sustainability and emission-free were at the forefront of many discussions. So it’s timely in this issue we try and break down the myths, and separate fact from fiction regarding hybrid technology. From the owner’s perspective, what’s the chief reason they should look at installing it in the first place? While we congratulate the many yards and designers who continue to push the boundaries, it must be acknowledged we still have a long way to go to being totally emission free while still covering the distances required to enjoy boating.

Our front cover article features the beautiful Palm Beach 70 and their immaculate new flagship which recently made her world debut during the 60th Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Florida.
