Occupational title trap
There is a tendency of so many of us adopting titles as developed by academics or HR teams, the problem is most of these titles are too scientific or internalised to a particular organization rendering them pointless to outsiders.
Non descriptive title is a trap. A useful title should briefly explain what you do, You are your own brand, do not identify yourself by your employer, inject your own words and create your own identity.
I do like to use the quote from William Edwards Deming 'If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you are doing'.
Tell the people out there what is it you do in your title not who is it you are as per your employment!
