Obviously ... Why Innovation?

Business is speeding up as fast as we can't imagine, the market becomes cluttered with products and sometimes inside the same product we find ourselves in a clutter of features , advertising also is making things difficult to us to choose and decide.

This means that when companies are busy doing the advertising and the marketing of their product or service others are busy making it obsolete. The market is moving faster as anyone expect.

In our days we are moving from a product oriented civilization to a service oriented civilization. Some of the the growing sectors in the world are education, healthcare, transport and goverments.

Giving that problem, companies need to move fast and innovate to be different and stand out from thier competitors. Companies need to choose between innovation to actively create wealth through creative and different products and services OR end up in the fossil layers of the business history.

Innovation in a few words is about the discovery and the engineering of new ways doing things. From innovation comes unexpected things that could be different and compelling.

One of the big barrieres to innovation is the confort that the people already have, confortable people don't like to change. They don't like to move from where they are to another place because they are confortable.

It is clear for all of us that Innovation becoming necessary to any business and the starting point to have is the enabling of a new culture of innovation. In a nutshell, for business to be sustainable it needs more than a good product or service, it needs a culture of non-stop innovation.
